I would suggest that they make an appointment and get a hearing test and decide from that.

Apparently, my hearing loss was so gradual that I only realized it when I had to keep saying pardon or apologizing to people for not hearing what they said. I didn’t have concerns before contacting Great Lakes Hearing because I had been previously cared for by another provider, though I did once wonder if hearing aids could really help as my hearing deteriorated. My first impressions were that they are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. 

 It took me a while to realize that these instruments are "hearing aids" and not a complete replacement for natural good hearing, but they are better than the alternative. My favourite thing is their efficiency. I would suggest that anyone concerned about their hearing should make an appointment, get a hearing test, and decide from that.
