There's nothing to lose by getting your hearing checked.

My awareness of hearing loss was gradual, as it got worse over time. Somewhat reluctantly, I agreed with my wife to get my hearing tested, especially after encouragement from friends who had recently gotten hearing aids. Since I had already received my first hearing aids at a clinic in Toronto, I knew more or less what to expect at Great Lakes Hearing. My first impression was that they were pleasant and welcoming. Hearing aids have made a great difference in what I hear, and have been well worth any inconvenience in wearing and caring for them. My favourite thing about working with the clinic is that Jill is knowledgeable and accessible.

There's nothing to lose by getting your hearing checked. At the very least, you'll have a baseline hearing profile that can help with future evaluations, or you may find you need hearing aids and will have options for proceeding.
