Megan Livingston

 Megan is originally from the small town of Chesley, Ontario, where she attended both primary and secondary school.  

It seems that Megan was destined to work within the audiology field, and particularly with Great Lakes Hearing’s owner Jill Curtis, though she didn’t know it at the time. After completing her studies in medical administration, Megan moved back to the area and had the opportunity to work in a local hearing clinic, where Jill was working as a hearing instrument specialist.  

Megan worked at the clinic for five years before taking time off to raise her son. Several years later, Megan and Jill reconnected, and Megan is now thrilled to join her in this new chapter at her own clinic. 

At Great Lakes Hearing, Megan’s role revolves around looking after our patients and ensuring their needs are met. She handles reception and administrative duties, such as greeting clients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and performing basic hearing aid maintenance. She is often the first point of contact for our clients and strives to make everyone feel welcome.   

Megan loves seeing the joy on our clients’ faces when they leave the office hearing better. She notes that it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of something that genuinely improves people’s quality of life. 
 
Outside the office, Megan relishes spending time with her husband and their son, exploring the beautiful area they’re lucky to call home. Together, they enjoy year-round cold-water dips in Georgian Bay in Wiarton and backcountry camping in Northern Ontario during the summer and fall. Family time is always a priority for them.
